Aisling oversees the customer facing activity for retail and business banking including mortgages. She also leads AMAZE Direct, the Business and Commercial Service Centres, Lending Operations, Facilities and Property, First Line Risk, Incident Management and Customer Relations.

Aisling has a BSc from University College Dublin and trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG. She had various roles with Anglo Irish Bank, including Head of Internal Audit and the Director of UK Operations.

In December of 2009 she became the ninth employee of Metro Bank, joining a team of like-minded people with a shared vision for success and helped build the bank from the ground up. She was Metro Bank’s Chief Operations Officer from inception until January 2024.

Outside of her work, Aisling enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons - which often means following them to a sporting fixture, the theatre or away on travels.
