Metro Bank store colleagues in Bromley, Epsom, Guildford and Swindon have now been trained to offer a Safe Space to domestic abuse victims, many of whom are also victims of economic abuse by their partners
Over 50 Metro Bank colleagues including those from across the London region, head office teams including customer relations and the legal team with our King’s Road store took part in the 10k London Legal Walk for the second year running to raise much needed funds for the London Legal Support Trust – a trust that provides free and pro bono legal advice and support for disadvantaged people.
Hemel Hempstead Metro Bank will host New York Times bestselling author Fawzia Koofi from 5pm – 7pm on Tuesday 27th June 2023 at its store in Marlowes. Fawzia is the keynote speaker at the event.
Metro Bank colleagues from the Clapham Junction store have delivered Money Zone – financial education workshops – to six members of Share Community. The aim of the complimentary workshops is to raise financial awareness in students and understanding.
Colleagues from the Metro Bank stores in Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Enfield, Luton, and Borehamwood are joining forces at the Hertfordshire Agricultural Society Food & Farming Day to deliver part of its financial education programme – Money Zone – to 1,100 eleven year olds from 26 local schools. The food and farming day will take place at the Hertfordshire County Showground on Tuesday 4th July.
The Metro Bank stores at Liverpool Street and Cheapside will be hosting Morph sculptures as part of the Morph’s Epic Art Adventure - the UK’s first step-free art trail of its kind, hosted by Whizz-Kidz, the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users.
Eastbourne Metro Bank will be honouring Armed Forces Week (June 19 – 25) by hosting The Blue Van Drop In charity in its Terminus Road store.
Metro Bank’s Bradford store will be hosting a special breakfast for local businesses around the theme Together We Grow. The event will be held in its Market Street store from 8.30 – 10.30 am on Wednesday June 14th in partnership with financial advisers Hillcrest Wealth Management.
