Metro Bank, the community bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Forty colleagues from Metro Bank’s finance team chose to use their Day to Amaze as volunteers for Rotherfield Primary School – a mixed community school providing quality education to children in North London.

Kerry Reynolds, Northampton Metro Bank’s Area Director, will be one of three guest speakers at a complimentary women’s networking event co-hosted with Fortus and EMW Law. Over 20 female-led businesses will be attending this networking opportunity designed to inspire, motivate and form mutually beneficial long-lasting relationships. The event will take place from 2pm - 4pm at Fortus, 1 Rushmills, Northampton, NN4 7YB on Thursday 8 September and spaces are still available

Colleagues from Metro Bank’s Basingstoke store chose to use their Day to Amaze as volunteers for the Age Concern Hampshire – a charity passionate about supporting older people across Hampshire.

Crawley Metro Bank Colleagues Accompany Five Metre-Tall Puppet Aura on Three Day Tour

Crawley colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, joined Aura as volunteer guardians to travel through Crawley as part of her odyssey. Her tour was part of ‘Enliven: You’re Welcome,’ a season of outdoor performances and indoor creativity to celebrate the diversity of Crawley's residents and their welcoming nature. Created by Animated Objects Theatre Company and Inspired by Homer’s classic tales, five-metre tall puppet Aura is a young civilian survivor displaced by the Trojan wars.

Nine Brighton colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, have raised £935 to celebrate Rockinghorse Children’s Charity’s 55th anniversary by walking from Eastbourne to Brighton.

Canterbury Metro Bank Colleagues Climb Snowdon and Raise over £500 for Local Charity

The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Hayden Saveall and Darian Lewis, Customer Service Representatives from Metro Bank’s Canterbury store chose to take on a mammoth task for their Day to Amaze by climbing Mount Snowdon to raise £560 in aid of Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service, a charity which provides support to people affected by domestic abuse across Kent.
