Oxford Metro Bank Colleagues Dig Deep for Local Charity

The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Colleagues from Metro Bank’s Oxford store chose to use their Day to Amaze by volunteering for Ronald McDonald House Charities - a charity which provides free accommodation for families whose children are in hospital.

On Saturday 4th September, the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, will support ‘SmartKid Expo’ an event organized by the Smart Kid charity that promotes quality skills and talent development in young adults and children. SmartKid Expo is a free event comprising a variety of educational activities and creative workshops to help inspire children to believe in themselves and reach their full potential.

Luton Metro Bank Colleagues Support Local Sport Event

On Monday 23rd August, Luton colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank will join in to support ‘Wicketz’ taking place in Luton. Wicketz is a cricket programme funded by Lord’s Tarverners which aims to provide cricket opportunities and teach fundamental life skills to young people aged 8-19 living in highly populated and deprived communities.
