Metro Bank has appointed Richard Jenkins as Commercial Lending Director for Wales and the South-West.
Metro Bank has announced a new partnership with Covecta, an AI platform for financial services that will be deployed across its corporate and commercial credit businesses.

The six-year partnership between Metro Bank and the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is rooted in the creation of the Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund, which aims to drive transformational growth for girls’ recreational cricket across England and Wales.
Metro Bank has launched its new brand positioning ahead of the Bank’s 15th anniversary later this year.
Hestia is raising awareness about how everyone can take action on gender-based violence, in partnership with its Safe Space partners including Metro Bank. Metro Bank store colleagues have been trained to offer a Safe Space to domestic abuse victims, many of whom are also victims of economic abuse by their partners. The support is available in 49 of the Bank’s stores*.
Ahead of Black Friday this November 29th, Metro Bank is one of the many financial providers joining the BBC Be Scam Safe awareness week from November 23rd to help educate consumers about the potential risks and offer guidance on how to protect themselves.
