On Saturday 4th September, Canterbury Metro Bank colleagues joined Strode Park Foundation volunteers to help stage the Theatre in the Park live country music event organized for people with disabilities.

This includes email deception and phone-based scams as well as online fraud – particularly where criminals impersonate trusted organisations. The focus for this year is The Art of Saying No.

On Sunday 29th August, Crawley colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, will be joining voices with the Crawley LGBTQ+ community to celebrate Pride.
On Monday 23rd August, Luton colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank will join in to support ‘Wicketz’ taking place in Luton. Wicketz is a cricket programme funded by Lord’s Tarverners which aims to provide cricket opportunities and teach fundamental life skills to young people aged 8-19 living in highly populated and deprived communities.
Enfield colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank will join in all the festivities around ‘A Month of Sundays’ throughout August. A Month of Sundays festival celebrates the town through a series of exciting activities, art, dance groups, music bands and games for the kids on school holidays.
Keeping colleagues motivated and managing a healthy work life balance is the challenge facing lots of managers, but 200 Metro Bank colleagues were so engaged by an Olympic style challenge – Road to Tokyo - they have exercised over 12,000 miles in just 30 days.
From Saturday 14th August - Monday 30th October the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, will showcase local portraits – part of the Enliven Crawley programme organized by Crawley Town Centre Business Improvement District and Creative Crawley. This innovative art event - entitled Stories of Strength - launches with a photographic exhibition trail featured in local venues across the town centre. The project celebrates resilience, perseverance, determination and vulnerability. Each venue showcases art that celebrates the strength of the people in Crawley.
Metro Bank stores across the West Midlands region – that’s Birmingham, Solihull Merry Hill and Wolverhampton - are sponsoring one of the dog kennels at the Birmingham Dogs Home for the next year.
