Bexleyheath Metro Bank Delivers Money Zone to Foster’s Primary School Pupils
Bexleyheath Metro Bank’s Aruna Khan recently took centre stage at Foster’s Primary School, delivering an interactive and enlightening Money Zone session to 60 enthusiastic pupils. The sessions, which covered essential topics such as banking, saving, and budgeting, were met with great enthusiasm from the young learners.
Money Zone is a series of financial education lessons that Metro Bank offers - either virtually or in store. Money Zone comprises of four sessions - banking, saving, budgeting and the last session which takes place in store gives the students a behind the scenes look at the Bank including a visit to its vault. Metro Bank has delivered its Money Zone programme to over 250,000 children in 2,900 schools.
“We believe that financial education is crucial for young people, and it’s never too early to start,” says Bexleyheath Metro Bank Lead Cashier, Aruna Khan. “The kids at Foster’s Primary School were incredibly receptive and eager to learn. It was wonderful to see them so engaged and interested in topics that are important for their future.”
