Croydon Metro Bank Engages Students at John Ruskin College Freshers Fair
Metro Bank colleagues James Hammond and Rovi Tambwe recently attended the John Ruskin College Freshers Fair. John Ruskin College is a further education institution located in South Croydon offering a wide range of courses including vocational programs, apprenticeships, and A-levels, catering to school leavers and adult learners alike.
The duo set up their stall and quickly gained interest, engaging with students who had questions about banking and what Metro Bank has to offer. With their high-energy approach, they handed out a range of goodies, including highlighter pens, pop-out pockets and lollipops. Over 300 lucky students walked away with Metro Bank bags.
“We were thrilled to be part of the John Ruskin Freshers Fair,” said Rovi Tambwe, Croydon Metro Bank’s Lead Cashier. “Connecting with students face-to-face was the highlight of the day. It was fantastic to see how eager they were to learn about banking and how we can help them start their financial journey. At Metro Bank, we believe in nurturing talent and providing a platform for individuals to thrive in their chosen career paths.”
