Colleagues from Metro Bank’s Bristol store will be baking up a storm for International Women’s Day on March 8th to raise funds for Nelson’s Trust.
Nelson’s Trust is a charity that believes change is possible and supports women who may have experienced domestic abuse, drug and alcohol abuse or prison.
“As a community bank, we want to support local charities,” explains Metro Bank’s local business manager, Becky Rexworthy. “In addition to the baking, we are also donating food and toiletry essentials to the trust and colleagues in store will be wearing purple in solidarity with the charity.”
Nelson/s Trust will also be in store on March 8th for anyone interested in learning more about the charity and its work, or for those who may wish to come in to store and donate to the charity.
The Bristol Metro Bank store is located at 40-46 Broadmead, Bristol, BS1 3HB. The store’s opening hours are Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm.
