The Chelmsford Metro Bank was a bustling hub of activity and community spirit as it proudly participated in this year’s Volfest which is organised to celebrate National Volunteers Week. The high street outside the Metro Bank store was transformed into a vibrant festival ground, with over 100 charities setting up stalls to promote their causes, recruit volunteers, and engage with the public.
From dawn to dusk, the air was filled with the hum of enthusiastic conversations and bright colours of the charity banners. Metro Bank played a crucial role in supporting the event, providing refreshing drinks to keep participants hydrated throughout the day and generously supplying pens to stallholders.
The event was a resounding success, with numerous volunteers signing up to support various causes and a palpable sense of camaraderie permeating the atmosphere.
