The Ancient Market, boasts a vibrant street food scene, offering authentic cuisines from around the world with 28 permanent stalls operating seven days a week. It is renowned for its diverse range of traditional market offerings - from florists to fishmongers, greengrocers to an artisan bakery.

Kingston Metro Bank colleagues Adam Rodwell, Safah Malikzad, and Cheon Nagarajah set up an interactive stall where they engaged with visitors, who had the chance to learn about various banking options, from personal banking to specialized business services, including savings and investments plans, loans, and merchant services.

“We are delighted to have had the opportunity to connect with our community at the Ancient Market,” said Kingston Metro Bank Local Business Manager, Adam Rodwell. “Setting up our stall wasn’t just about showcasing our work, but also about having conversations, sharing stories, and truly listening to the pulse of the community. We believe in making banking accessible and approachable and what better way to do that than amidst the laughter, chatter, and delicious aromas of this historic market.

“Our goal is not just to provide financial services but to be an integral part of the local economy, supporting growth and prosperity.”
