Metro Bank’s Crawley store will host a Network & Hire event on Wednesday 20th September from 8:45am – 10:45am. Local businesses from all sectors are welcome to come along to meet candidates available for employment - be they new to the workforce, looking for a new challenge or returning to work.
“We recognise that a lot of businesses are growing and looking for new talent and many are looking to fill positions in a tight labour market,” explains Crawley Local Business Manager, Bola Adeyemi. “Anyone looking for a new role is welcome to drop in and meet potential employers in a relaxed informal setting. For business attendees, there will be experts to help ensure successful recruitment, as well as our local BID team who can advise on why business location can make a difference in attracting and retaining employees as well as provide information about what support is available and discovering new networking groups.”
Experts include:
- Emma Cleary, Director of Flexibility Matters, a recruitment business promoting and supporting the implementation of sustainable flexible working practices.
- Mo Kanjilal, Co-Creator of Watch This Sp_ce, a multi-award-winning diversity and inclusion business helping businesses shape a new future where people can work better together powered by inclusion.
- Paul Rolfe, Director of Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology at Chichester College Group, a cutting-edge institute that brings together the latest in digital technologies, innovation, and industry-led education.
