Cardiff Metro Bank colleague Alicia Malfatti recently delivered Money Zone to 60 enthusiastic pupils from High Street Primary School. The session covered essential financial topics such as banking, budgeting, and saving.
Money Zone is a series of financial education lessons that Metro Bank offers to children - either virtually or in store. Metro Bank has delivered its Money Zone programme to over 250,000 children in 2,900 schools.
Alicia’s engaging approach made complex concepts accessible and fun for the young audience. The children participated actively, asking a plethora of insightful questions, showcasing their curiosity and eagerness to learn about managing money.
To make the experience even more memorable, each student received a goodie bag at the end of the session.
Alicia expressed her delight at the success of the event, stating, “It was a pleasure to see the students so engaged and interested in financial literacy. Our goal is to empower the next generation with the knowledge they need to make smart financial decisions in the future.”
