Metro Bank’s Luton store will celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting a complimentary event (10-12pm) on Thursday March 9th with guest speakers Faye Silver, Branch Principal and Wealth Manager at Raymond James and from the charity Stepping Stones Denise March-Palmer and Emma McLaughlin.
International Women's Day celebrates women's rights and inspires people to act in the ongoing fight for gender equality - this year’s theme is Embrace Equity. Faye will speak about the importance in empowering women to feel confident to invest in themselves. While Denise and Emma will talk about the work the charity does empowering women who have suffered domestic abuse, or are vulnerable due to substance misuse by providing hope and the skills and resources to make positive life choices.
