Metro Bank’s Merry Hill store donated over 200 items and £500 to help support Santa’s Black Country Toy Appeal as part of its Christmas Community Campaign to spread the warmth this winter. In recognition of the current cost of living challenges. Metro Bank donated £35,000 to over 70 community charities, all of which are local to its stores, instead of having a Christmas tree in each store.
Santa’s Black Country Toy Appeal believes every child deserves a happy Christmas and Black Country residents and businesses donated children’s toys, games and books for this fantastic local charity.
“We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported our campaign this Christmas,” explains Merry Hill Metro Bank Store Manager, Louise Kemp. “As a community bank, we are really proud that thanks to our customers and donors, we were able to make a difference and help Santa’s Black Country Toy Appeal continue the incredible work that they do.’’
