Metro Bank was amongst a number of businesses to join hands with Solihull Sixth Form College in fostering the professional growth of young talent through its active participation in the recent careers fair for students aged 16 to 18.
During the event, students had the opportunity to understand the diverse career pathways within the banking sector and Metro Bank’s distinctive offerings including the journey to becoming a Customer Service Representative and what the role entails.
The interactive sessions not only captivated the students, but also inspired them to envision their own potential career trajectories within banking with a significant number expressing interest by submitting their CVs for consideration in future vacancies.

Metro Bank’s Solihull store is located at 119 High Street, Solihull B91 3SR. The store is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5pm. Solihull Metro Bank is also part of the Safe Space scheme – the store is available to anyone experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, providing the opportunity to safely call a helpline, support service or loved one.
