Colleagues from Metro Bank’s Asset Finance team recently organised a heartfelt charity day at Metro Bank’s Guildford office and raised a total of £189.31 for the Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA).
CLAPA is the only UK-wide voluntary organisation specifically helping those with, and affected by, cleft lip and palate.
The event was filled with engaging activities, including games, hot chocolate, and an array of treats, bringing together colleagues for a meaningful cause. The highlight of the day was a spirited quiz that capped off the event with enthusiasm.
“Being a part of this event was a deeply personal endeavor for me, as the charity’s mission hits close to home,” says Metro Bank’s Head of Credit Analyst and Support, Claire Whiter. “With a cleft identified on my unborn baby, I understand firsthand the importance of the support and safe space CLAPA provides. As my journey with my baby begins in April, I am committed to supporting this cause throughout his early years and into adulthood. A huge thank you to my colleagues for their participation and contribution towards this great cause.”
