Solihull Metro Bank took part in this year’s highly anticipated Solihull Food Festival, which returned to the bustling high street with over 80 food and drink traders. The festival featured live cooking demonstrations by renowned celebrity chefs Glynn Purnell and Aldo Zilli, drawing large crowds eager to experience the culinary delights on offer.
Metro Bank was excited to be part of the festivities with a dedicated stall where store colleagues engaged with local retail and business customers throughout the day. The team handed out informational leaflets, discussed Metro Bank’s products and services, and facilitated introductions between Local Business Manager, Alex Kemp and the food traders.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with our local community in such a lively atmosphere,” says Alex Kemp, Solihull Metro Bank Local Business Manager. “We’re passionate about building relationships with local residents and businesses, and the Solihull Food Festival gave us a perfect platform to showcase what Metro Bank is all about – personal service with a community focus.”
Ruta Skulteckiene, Solihull Metro Bank Assistant Store Manager added: “Being part of such a well-loved community event like the Solihull Food Festival allowed us to connect directly with the local businesses and residents we serve. Despite the chilly weather, our entire team came together to represent Metro Bank, and it was fantastic to see so many people interested in what we offer.”
