The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, gives every colleague a Day to Amaze – essentially a paid day off to support a local charity or good cause. Five colleagues from Metro Bank’s Lending Operations Team have once again demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact.
For the fifth time this year, our enthusiastic volunteers partnered with Oxfam and eagerly participated in a variety of activities, including sorting and steaming clothes, pricing stock, and assisting customers at Oxfam.
Oxfam has expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the consistent support received from Metro Bank colleagues. Over 2024 Metro Bank has learned that Oxfam’s London hubs play a central role in ensuring that the donated items are categorised and reach communities all around the UK.
“We are delighted to support Oxfam once again through our volunteering efforts,” said Mortgage Operations Manager, Nayna Patel. “It’s incredibly rewarding to contribute to such a worthy cause and to see firsthand the difference we can make.”
