Metro Bank Delivers Financial Lessons to Crawley College Students

Crawley Metro Bank recently delivered a successful session of Metro Bank’s flagship financial education program, Money Zone, at Crawley College. The interactive session is aimed to equip students with essential financial knowledge, helping them better understand banking, budgeting, and personal finance.

Money Zone is a series of financial education lessons that Metro Bank offers to children - either in-person, virtually or in store. Metro Bank has delivered its Money Zone programme to over 250,000 children in 2,900 schools.

The students were highly engaged throughout the session, asking insightful questions about the world of banking and finance. The interactive nature of the Money Zone program encouraged lively discussions, with many students seeking further guidance on managing their money.

L.A Belmonte, Crawley Metro Bank’s Assistant Store Manager said, “It was fantastic to see such a high level of engagement from the students at Crawley College. The questions they asked showed a real curiosity and eagerness to understand their finances, and it’s great to know that so many are taking proactive steps towards financial independence by opening accounts with us.”

The Crawley Metro Bank store is located at 25 Queens Square, Crawley RH10 1HA. The store is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5pm. Crawley Metro Bank is also part of the Safe Space scheme – the store is available to anyone experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, providing the opportunity to safely call a helpline, support service or loved one.
