The OX5 Run, is an iconic event in Oxfordshire, raises vital funds to ensure the Oxford Children’s Hospital continues to provide exceptional care and support to children and their families during challenging times.
Oxford Metro Bank colleagues, Grant Shergold, Huma Rehman, Jasmine Masih and Mahvish Mirza packed essential items and goodies into each runner bag, ensuring that participants of the OX5 Run receive a warm and supportive welcome.
“The OX5 Run is not just a race; it’s a symbol of hope and solidarity for the children and families served by the Oxford Children’s Hospital,” says Oxford Local Business Manager, Grant Shergold. “Volunteering to prepare runner bags has reinforced my belief in the power of community and collective action to make a difference.”
Metro Bank’s Oxford store is located at 4-5, Queen St, Oxford OX1 1EJ. The store is currently open Monday – Saturday: 8.30am - 6pm, Sunday: 11am - 5pm. Oxford Metro Bank is also part of the Safe Space scheme – the store is available to anyone experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, providing the opportunity to safely call a helpline, support service or loved one.
