Leicester colleagues from the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank are planning to get on their bikes on Saturday May 21 to fundraise for Focus and its #MightyMentalHealth campaign.
Focus is a Leicester-based charity which supports young people aged 13-25 years to develop skills, confidence and aspirations to lead fulfilling lives and to make a positive contribution to their local communities.
“We are all in training as we have to cycle non-stop from 10am to 4pm,” explained Leicester Metro Bank Local Business Manager, Suraj Madlani. “We are hoping to make as much money as possible for this great local charity and will be able to accept both cash and card donations for the charity. Please come along and support our event and donate to this inspiring charity.”
“We’re really excited to be working with the team from Metro Bank to raise awareness of the growing crisis in young people’s mental health”, said Focus’ Assistant Project Manager, Emma Wheeler. “We’ve had some amazing responses from the business community and from the wider public already. The day is going to be fantastic, and we hope it’ll draw a big crowd to support us all.”
