Metro Bank Colleagues Tee Off To Raise £600 for Charity
Colleagues from Metro Bank’s Croydon’s store have just completed a charity golf challenge to raise £600 for The Katie Haines Memorial Trust. Just two months after her wedding, aged 31, Katie died of an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning at her home. The Katie Haines Memorial Trust was founded by her family to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide.
Croydon Metro Bank hosted colleagues from nearby stores - Orpington, Sutton, Canterbury, Putney and Piccadilly at The Selsdon Park Hotel. “It was a great opportunity to bring colleagues together from different areas of the bank and also raise money for a good cause,” explained Metro Bank customer service representative Alan Higgins. “As a community bank we are always looking for ways to support good causes – this was a great way to raise money whilst having lots of fun!”
Metro Bank’s Croydon store can be found at Centrale Shopping Centre, Unit 1-2, Croydon, CR0 1TY. The store is currently open Monday – Saturday 08:30am - 6pm. Sunday: 11am - 5pm.
