Sheffield Metro Bank announces its celebration of International Women’s Day with a special event featuring guest speaker Michelle Slater, former England women’s footballer and esteemed business owner. The event will take place on Wednesday March 6th from 4pm – 6pm at 58-64 Fargate.
Michelle Slater will share insights from her illustrious sporting and entrepreneurial journey. Attendees can expect to gain valuable perspectives on leadership, perseverance, and the importance of women’s representation in both athletics and entrepreneurship.
In addition to sharing her personal experiences, Michelle Slater will pay tribute to the late Julie Chipchase, an inspirational figure in women’s football. Julie’s legacy lives on through a Community Interest Company established in her honour, aimed at providing coaching opportunities for females and fostering the growth of women’s football pathways.
