The UK’s community bank, Metro Bank will be celebrating Wales at its Spring Fling being held on Saturday May 7th in and around its Queen Street store.
Metro Man - the Bank’s mascot - will lead the celebrations which include staging a live music event to celebrate everything Welsh, as well as colleagues from the Bank offering complimentary Welsh cakes to passersby.
“It feels so good to finally be staging a celebratory face to face event,” explains Cardiff Metro Bank’s local director, Khushboo Patel. “We are a hub for our local communities and everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun. We are famous for our love of dogs, so if anyone wants to bring along their four legged friends, free treats and bandanas as well as water bowls will be readily available.”
The celebrations will kick off at 9am through to 6pm outside Metro Bank’s Cardiff store at 40 to 44 Queen Street, Cardiff, CF10 2BX.
