Swindon Metro Bank and Wiltshire Police Team Up Against Crime

On Wednesday, May 22nd, from 10am to 12pm, Swindon Metro Bank colleagues Megan Greenwood and Mitch Dunlop will host a special event dedicated to crime and burglary prevention, featuring Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Abbie Sims from Wiltshire Police.

PCSO Abbie Sims, well-known for her commitment to community safety in Swindon, will set up a stand in store to provide valuable insights and practical advice on preventing crime and protecting homes from burglaries. This is a fantastic opportunity for local residents to pop in for a chat and learn directly from a local expert dedicated to keeping Swindon safe.

The event aims to address the increasing concerns around crime in Swindon. Recent statistics indicate a need for heightened awareness and preventive measures, especially in areas prone to burglaries.

“We are excited to host PCSO Abbie Sims and support our community in safeguarding their homes and possessions,” said Swindon Metro Bank Store Manager, Jasmine Masih. “At Metro Bank, we’re committed to your safety – inside and out. Trust our Safe Deposit Boxes to keep your valuables secure. We hope this event will drive awareness and encourage their use.”

Metro Bank’s Swindon store is located at 1-4 Regent St, Swindon SN1 1JQ. The store is currently open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5pm.
