Metro Bank will be hosting a celebration for International Women’s Day at its High Street store on Friday March 7th from 10am – 12pm.
International Women's Day (March 8th) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
The IWD event will feature inspirational speakers including Misbah Khatana Aamir, Sonia Patel and Parmjeet Bhambra.
Misbah is a lecturer at the University of Cambridge and will be discussing the role women play in the international trade eco system. Sonia is a professional networker in the London region. She has successfully helped business grow through the power of networking and has single handedly set up networking chapters across London and will be talking about her journey. Parmjeet is a senior solicitor at Sadler Cross and an expert in all areas of family law, providing strategic no-nonsense practical legal advice for women going through an emotionally challenging time.

We’re committed to supporting women with access to tools, resources and finance and supporting them in the three key areas they struggle with namely networking, funding and mentoring.”
Metro Bank has 75 stores across England and Wales and will be opening new stores in Chester and Gateshead before June 2025.
The Uxbridge Metro Bank store is at The Pavilions Shopping Centre, 50 High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1JP. The store opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm and Saturday 9.30am – 4pm.
