Online payment approval steps

Something went wrong with online payment approval.

You’ve been redirected to this page instead of our Mobile App for one of the below reasons:

  • The Metro Bank App is not installed on this device.
  • There was an error trying to redirect you to the Metro Bank App. 

This payment is still awaiting approval, and you need to approve it using either the Metro Bank Mobile App or Online Banking service to complete the transaction. Please do not attempt to make the payment again, unless you intend to make the payment twice, or you’ve already declined the payment in our App. 

Accessing the online payment approval steps  

 To approve in the App, please follow these steps: 

  1. Open your Metro Bank App 
  2. Check the details and approve the transaction 
  3. Go back to the merchant app and select "complete payment" 

 

To approve in Online Banking, please follow these steps: 

  1. Open a new tab or window and log in to Online Banking
  2. Check the details and approve the transaction
  3. Go back to the merchant app and select "complete transaction.”
